Synopsis

During the war between Iraq and Iran, Saddam Hussein&#39,s forces attacked Halabja, a city in Iraqi Kurdistan, with bombs, artillery fire and chemical weapons, in particular nerve gas. Some 5000 people are estimated to have died in the attack. An Iranian war photographer is the first man to enter the city following the massacre. There he meets a woman and a tale of love begins&hellip,

Director

Born in Bijar, Iran in 1968, Ahmad Ramezan Zadeh graduated in cinema from the IRIB school and began his career as an assistant director to several established filmmakers. In 1995 he directed a 16mm film, BASHIR, which won awards in Nantes and New Delhi. He has also directed over 40 episodes of the Friendship Agency television series.
